1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the YoLingo website, mobile experience, and learning application (collectively, the "Service"), operated by YoLingo. By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
YoLingo provides interactive English-language learning content, including lessons, flashcards, quizzes, and matching games. The Service offers free content as well as paid Premium subscriptions. Content, features, and pricing may change from time to time.
3. Accounts
You may use the Service by entering your email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when signing up.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Premium features are available through paid subscriptions: Monthly, Yearly, or Lifetime. Prices are displayed at the time of purchase and may be changed by us at any time; we will provide reasonable notice of price changes affecting recurring subscriptions.
- Recurring subscriptions (Monthly and Yearly) renew automatically until cancelled. The Yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial; if cancelled during the trial, you will not be charged.
- You may cancel a recurring subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the then-current billing period.
- Lifetime access is a one-time purchase. "Lifetime" means the useful life of the Service and does not guarantee perpetual availability of the Service.
All payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Paddle. YoLingo does not store your full payment card details. Sales tax or VAT may be added where required by law.
5. Refunds
If you are not satisfied with YoLingo, you may request a refund within 30 days of purchase, as described in our Refund Policy. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within a reasonable time.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including, without limitation:
- Attempting to access, alter, or interfere with the Service, its servers, or its data;
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or scraping the Service;
- Using the Service to infringe the rights of others or in violation of any applicable law;
- Sharing Premium access, circumventing paywalls, or reselling access.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its content, lessons, design, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by or licensed to YoLingo and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time and cancel your subscription in accordance with Section 4.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. YoLingo does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, YoLingo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
